EJ has an immediate opening for a Welder on our overnight shift (Sunday – Wednesday, 7:30 PM to 6M), salary - $24.00 - $26.80 per hour.

SUMMARY
Welds metal components together with a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate risers, catch basins, hand box frames and covers and other miscellaneous products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Welds metal parts together using both gas welding and any combination of arc welding processes.
- Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting, drilling and grinding.
- Fabricating risers, catch basins, hand box frames and covers.
- Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
- Drives fork lift in yard.
- Assists with raw material inventory levels and communicates equipment requirements to supervisor.
- Provides assistance to Material Handlers as needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds repetitively throughout shift
- Must be able to work well with others
