The Role:

 

Opportunities exist for experienced Patient Support Services Assistants to join our Support Services Team on a Casual basis, at Broadmeadows Hospital and Bundoora Centre.  We are looking for reliable individuals who will demonstrate exemplary communication skills, a positive attitude, as well as a friendly and professional manner.

 

The successful applicant will possess and demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

 

  • Ability to communicate with patients, other members of staff and members of the public with empathy and an appreciation of confidentiality
  • Previous experience in the operation of commercial cleaning equipment
  • Understanding of infection control cleaning processes within a healthcare environment
  • Deliver excellent cleaning standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • The ability to plan and prioritise tasks
