Mail Room Clerk at French Consulting

• Transport official and personal mail to and from Rota mail center in a government-owned vehicle to the mail room.
• Handling requirements: ensure proper security, handling, sorting, documenting, dispatching, and forwarding of all mail per established instructions
• Maintain database of all customers served
• Assign new personnel virtual box number at Mail Center.
• Collect forwarding addresses for departing patrons and maintain weekly mailing list
• Handle Registered and Official mail according to established procedures
• Adhere to all established instructions, guidance, and operating manuals.

• Ability to lift 70 lbs.
• Knowledge of organization procedures sufficient to maintain files, directories, supportive material
• Knowledge of procedural instructions and postal regulations
• Knowledge of USPS and DoD requirements with relations to processing and dispatching all types of outgoing mail, packages, and materials
• Valid state and Government driver’s license
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Duties may be physically demanding, and long periods of standing, walking and bending may be required
