How you’ll make an impact:

SiriusXM is looking for a Manager, Podcast Marketing to join the growing Podcast Marketing and Partnerships team in New York City. This role will be responsible for fostering growth of podcasts through creative marketing execution, maintaining relationships, synthesizing and sharing data, and more. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strong digital marketing, proficiency in data and analytics, and experience in the media landscape.

What you’ll do:

  • Brainstorm and pitch creative marketing strategies, content, and promotional opportunities aimed at gaining new audiences, retaining and engaging existing audiences, and building brand awareness.

  • Develop marketing strategies and creative briefs for specialty programming, events, promotional assets, graphics, and more.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners, serving as the main point of contact for marketing initiatives. Ensure seamless communication and coordination.

  • Manage marketing from planning and strategy phases to implementation and execution to data analysis and presentations.

  • Work cross-functionally across internal departments, including CRM, App, PR, Social, Performance, Creative, Events, Sweeps, Email, Channel marketing, OEM, Sales, Brand, and Digital.

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, using relevant metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks to build insights about promotional effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.

  • Provide and present regular reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the impact of marketing activities and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Maintain a finger on the pulse in the rapidly evolving landscape of the industry, understanding technological advancements, content trends, and shifts in podcasting.

  • Assist with performance marketing and media buying strategy focused on listener growth primarily within social media, native channels, display media and ad networks.

  • Help partner with creative services, marketing analytics, product and engineering teams to build world class acquisition funnels and measurable marketing programs fueling growth.

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing within the media landscape.

  • Experience in sports marketing is a plus.

  • Experience with video editing or design software.

  • Experience in social media strategy, data analytics, and experience in tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, etc.

  • Proficient in computer and software skills such as Excel.

  • Experience analyzing and synthesizing data, and sharing learnings to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.

  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.

  • Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.

  • Ability to seamlessly multi-task effectively across multiple active projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $85,200 to $100,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
