Overview:

Summary Statement:

 

The Production Manager is responsible for supporting Entertainment initiatives and productions throughout the property. This position is tasked with establishing and maintaining safe and consistent show operations for assigned projects and liaise with all necessary departments across the Resort.

Job Duties:

Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:

  • Oversees assigned functions within the department consistent with the strategic plan and vision for the division and Resorts World Las Vegas.
  • Defines needs, advances entertainment productions and advancing management services as needed.
  • Supports department’s standard operating procedures and protocols.
  • Drives financial performance by effectively managing various project budgets including labor, equipment, and sub-rentals.
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships with key venue personnel to enhance the overall business relationships, in addition to maintaining relationships with external clients/vendors by providing information, support, and guidance.
  • Develops client relationships and manages sales process to achieve sales objectives, if applicable.
  • Ensures proper team member training, safety protocols, technical education, and industry best practices.
  • Create and manage an avenue of good communication for the department throughout the company.
  • Creates a work environment that promotes integrity, Company values, teamwork, extraordinary performance, accountability, continuous improvement, recognition, and employee satisfaction.
  • Liaison between Entertainment and other internal business units. (Special Events, Sales, F&B, etc.).
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.
Qualifications:

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Experience as a vendor/client liaison for complex projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent Communication skills; demonstrated project management abilities; knowledge of production technologies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced, busy, and stressful environment; maintain proper mental attitude and ability to operate effectively while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks as a high energy leader while maintaining a strong focus on guests both internal and external.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred).
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within the team.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.  

Preferred

  • Strong working knowledge of industry standard production audio visual technologies, best practices, and service programs.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • At least five years' experience in a technical management position on a large-scale production.
  • At least three years of directly related operational management experience at a similar leadership level.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
