JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for safely transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments and activities outside the facility, ensuring timely and secure travel. This role requires maintaining the operational readiness and safety of transportation vehicles, including routine maintenance and security checks.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transports residents, as directed by the facility, to ensure that they attend appointments outside of the facility.
• Ability to maintain the safe and secure operation of the transportation vehicles to ensure that all maintenance is current, and all security items are in proper working order.
• Provide oversight of resident's transportation passes.
• Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
• Participate in scheduled program meetings.
• Other relevant duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or its equivalent (e.g. General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
• Valid California Driver’s License and excellent driving record.
• Trained and certified in CPR and the administration of first aid services within 30 calendar days of hire.
• Cultural Competency understanding required.
• Bilingual preferred.
• If substance use disorder program a negative tuberculosis test (TB) is conducted under licensed medical supervision within 45 working days of hire or within 5 working days of employment and valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification upon hire or within 90-days of employment.
