The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and deliveries. This role requires the ability to safely operate a 14–26 ft. bobtail truck for deliveries and pickups, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately enter data into the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory software.
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment following company standards.
• Load, transport, and deliver goods using a 14–26 ft. bobtail truck in a safe and timely manner.
• Ensure delivery documentation is completed and returned accurately.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and delivery vehicle.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) if certified and required.
• Communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse and delivery driving experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to safely operate 14–26 ft. bobtail trucks.
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory or ERP systems a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Forklift certification a plus (or ability to obtain).
