Job Title:  Lead Systems Administrator        
Location: Dahlgren VA

Job Responsibilities:
·        Experience in a virtualization solution such as Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare ESX/ESXi, or Nutanix Acropolis a plus.
·        Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced, interrupt-driven environment; quality-driven, thorough and communicative.
·        Development and maintenance of technical documentation and drawings.
·        Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and changing requirements.
·        Knowledge of architecture, communication protocols, and system-level requirements in support of medium to large Enterprise environments.
·        Solid foundation in networking principles and troubleshooting of network-based performance issues.
·        Troubleshooting complex technical issues in a mixed Windows and Linux environment.
·        Minimum six years of experience performing system and security administration in Windows, and VMware environments, including troubleshooting, installation, configuration, patching, and system performance monitoring and availability.
·        Minimum six years of experience with security tool administration, Operating System, and application hardening, and security control implementation such as DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
·        Minimum six years of experience performing Windows technical support, including  knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and Group Policy Objects.
 
Job Requirements:  
Six (6) years of professional work and leadership experience in relation to Windows system administration of networks and software systems. Experience in system backup/recovery, basic software management, security and library management, installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems and COTS software, operating computer systems in different operating environments, sizing, performance, tuning, hardware/software /network trouble shooting and resource allocation. Experience in maintaining proficiency on major network security tools such as, firewalls. Experience developing system specifications and performing market research procurement tasks. Experience with different network protocols including TCP/IP. Experience of computing and networking vulnerabilities, and attach and latest detect methods.
 
Demonstrable experience in writing business/project plans, technical documents, presentations and proposals required.  Individual must have high degree of skills with the MS Office toolsets.
 
Candidate will work on-site.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related field is preferred.

DoD IAT Level II.  Security+
