Title: Case Manager
Program: CCR&R FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Worksite: TBD Classification: Full-time
Reports to: Supervisor
Position Summary: Support families by maintaining a caseload for child care subsidy assistance services.
Essential Functions
- Perform case management duties.
- Review child care payment forms and sign in/out sheets.
- Assist child care providers and families by referring to supportive services.
- Remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
Marginal Functions
- Participate in ongoing monitoring and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with administrative functions as needed.
- Assist with outreach and community events as needed.
- Compile and submit reports within established timelines.
- Respond to any inquiries within a timely manner.
- Participate in all required committees, conferences, meetings and training relevant to the program and/or agency.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Skills, Abilities, & Knowledge
- Abide by all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, regulations, and policies related to the program and relevant grants.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Utilize technology to enter, retrieve, and process information and communicate electronically.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field: social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, interpersonal communications, elementary or special education and behavioral science.
Employment Conditions
- Successfully clearing the background check process, which may include: criminal background check, education verification, references, drug testing, motor vehicle records, sex offender registry, Child Protective Services check, and federal grants debarred list.
- Able to travel as needed.
- Adhere to RVCDS and the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Code of Ethics.
- Business casual apparel.
Environmental Conditions
- Indoors in a normal office environment with little exposure to temperature changes at least fifty percent (50%) of the time.
- Prolonged sitting at a desk viewing a computer screen and keyboard typing.
- Frequent face-to-face, electronic, and virtual interactions with internal and external customers.
- Frequently work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions.
- Public contact position.
- This position may be eligible to work remotely up to two days per week following a successful 90-day review.
Physical Demands
- Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
- Access information using a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
