The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking Electronic Design and Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Senior) to support the Mandates and Safety Enhancements development work in Systems Integration team in Everett, WA.
Position Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will develop solutions focused on mandates and safety enhancements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while driving improvements across our aircraft systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance safety, reliability, and performance, all while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the organization.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Senior Level Electronic Design and Analysis Engineers.
Senior (Level 4) applicants should be able to showcase significant technical depth and process knowledge in one or more Electronic Systems on the aircraft, and the ability to lead a team of engineers to a common goal.
Primary responsibilities:
Develop and documents electronic and electrical system requirements.
Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
Responsible for technical coordination with Engineering Functions and programs
Implementation of mandates and safety enhancement solutions (Architecture, Requirements, Development Integration).
Certification Strategy for all applicable BCA models.
Manage engineering performance to plan through respective program forums (i.e. ARRR).
Coordinate with BGS for modifications as a part of the total mandate or safety enhancement solution.
Partner with Customer Engineering (Feature Management) on messaging to Customers. Ensures compliance with appropriate regulations and certification requirements, including ARP4754A, DO-178, and DO-254.
Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
Research specific technology advances for potential application to customer and company business needs.
Work Authorization:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Everett, WA location.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
3+ years of engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in avionics design and a background in related fields within the avionics industry.
Experience in using Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) for requirements management.
Experience using Digital Engineering and Systems Engineering (DESE) Tools for System Engineering Development.

Summary Pay Range:
Experienced (Level 3): $102,850 - $139,150
Senior (Level 4): $128,350 - $173,650
