Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring a part-time Server to join our team at Morimoto Asia in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. As a Server, you will have the privilege of representing our restaurant and creating lasting impressions through your exceptional service, making each guest feel valued and satisfied. Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Unit Description:Delaware North is a leader in food service management, operating some of the busiest and most famous kitchens in the world. This is no exception when it comes to serving up exquisite cuisines and unforgettable dining experiences in the Lake Buena Vista, Florida area at Tutto Italia, Via Napoli, Morimoto, Vivoli Florida, The Edison, Enzo's Hideaway and Tunnel Bar, Maria and Enzo's Ristorante, and Pizza Ponte.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and provide detailed knowledge of food, wine, and beverage offerings.
- Guide guests through the dining experience with personalized recommendations.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Adhere to high service standards, including table setting, wine service, and proper etiquette.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station and dining areas.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns with grace, discretion, and professionalism.
- Process orders using POS systems, handle payments accurately, and follow closing procedures.
- Uphold safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in compliance with health regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and service briefings
- Experience: 2+ years in upscale high volume or fine dining service. Space 220, Morimoto. 2+ years fast paced casual dining service all other locations.
- Knowledge: Extensive understanding of food, wine, spirits, and proper service techniques.
- Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
- Appearance: Professional grooming and attire consistent with luxury service standards.
- Availability: Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Sommelier or wine certification a plus.
- Familiarity with fine dining service styles (e.g., French service, table-side preparation).
- Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) and POS systems
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and navigating a fast-paced environment
