Job Description: 

The Senior Client Advisory Services (CAS) Manager provides outsourced Controller and CFO services, manages special projects, possesses problem solving capabilities, and is a primary point of contact with clients. Proficiency in this role requires a focus on quality and efficiency in the review and release of recurring projects, assisting clients with strategic management decisions while maintaining the overall client relationship and firm’s knowledge of the client. This role will also collaborate with Tax and Assurance divisions to ensure clients meet financial goals while considering the tax strategy implications of strategic decisions when preparing financials. 

The Senior CAS Manager will need to act like a strategic consultant to the client, helping them to understand their financials and the impacts on their business based on current management decisions. The role will need to be an effective communicator, gaining the trust of their clients. It’s also important that this person is proficient in Excel and can understand forecasting models and the impact to financials based on key inputs and drivers. This role will also need to demonstrate the potential for business development, helping to bring in new clients to CCK.

While this role would not immediately have direct reports, the potential to lead a team is needed for future growth of the division. 

  

Responsibilities:

  • Work with clients      on-site to clean, review, and utilize financial statements for business      direction.
  • Analyze financial      reports and develop customized KPIs and metrics that align with the      specific goals and objectives of each client.
  • Understand client goals and challenges, offering      strategic advice and recommendations that align with their business      objectives.
  • Regularly check in with clients to gauge      satisfaction, address concerns, and offer proactive solutions.
  • Business      development, both with new clients to CCK and expanding      scope of services with existing client base.
  • Sets project expectations and communicates feedback effectively.
  • Project oversight and team workload management to ensure an even distribution of projects. 
  • Mentors Client Advisory Services team      members to ensure they are developing and learning.
  • Assists team members with problem solving and coaches on quality and efficiency. 
  • Regularly looks for ways to improve our process and communicates those ideas proactively.
  • All other job responsibilities as assigned. 
  • Adheres to all relevant information security policies and procedures, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and upholding the integrity and confidentiality of the company information.  


Requirements

  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Customer service focus, for both internal and      external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability      to delegate work with clarity.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability      to think strategically and adapt quickly to client issues      across different industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with financial statements      and business operations, with the ability to review financial      statements for accuracy.
  • Comprehensive accounting knowledge with strong understanding of GAAP, financial regulations, and internal controls.
  • Willingness to      work beyond standard hours to meet deadlines and ensure successful project      delivery.
  • Technologically proficient and able to translate software skills across multiple platforms. 
  • Proficient in Excel and able to work with complex      forecasting models.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize      multiple clients and projects simultaneously.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or another related subject area.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience (i.e. accounting, advisory, consulting).
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • CPA or CPA eligible.
  • Experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) preferred.
