JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Safety Coordinator to help ensure a safe and complaint-friendly working environment at our manufacturing facilities. This role is ideal for someone with 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with a strong understanding of workplace safety practices, OSHA standards, and the ability to lead safety initiatives on the floor. This position requires a diligent, detail-oriented individual with a passion for employee well-being and a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.


Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Assists in implementing and maintaining safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

  • Conducts regular safety inspections, audits, and walkthroughs of the facility individually and collectively with a team.

  • Identifies potential hazards and recommends corrective actions.

  • Coordinates and leads safety training sessions for employees (PPE, Lockout/Tagout, forklift safety, etc.).

  • Investigates workplace accidents and incidents, document findings, and help implement corrective actions. Prepare Safety Alerts, finalize, and send them out to the team for continued training.

  • Maintains safety documentation, including SDS, inspection reports, and training records.

  • Leads safety committee meetings and promotes a strong safety culture across all departments throughout both facilities.

  • Serves as a point of contact for safety-related concerns and follow up on employee reports.

  • Supports emergency preparedness planning and drills.

  • Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.
