Your Impact:
Set the Account Management gold-standard at Upvest
Upvest is becoming the category leader in investment infrastructure, defining a new standard in client success and long-term satisfaction. To enable this vision, you establish, lead, and continuously refine a comprehensive Account Management function.Your primary mission is to build and scale the function for enterprise clients: introducing proven Enterprise Account Management and Client Success practices, structuring teams for impact, and instilling habits that drive repeatable excellence. You bring a hands-on attitude and deep experience in leading teams that serve enterprise clients in the fintech sector.
With a strong commercial mindset, you identify upsell and expansion opportunities and ensure that growth within existing accounts is captured systematically. You operate with a KPI-driven approach with clear eye on NRR, GRR and CSATs. By implementing the right playbook and leveraging analytics, you create scalable, measurable impact while delivering consistent “wow” moments to our clients.
You regularly gather, distil, and share client and market insights with sales, product, and operations to accelerate improvements and inform new features. You ensure your team is empowered to deliver success and satisfaction with confidence. Internally, you act as the client’s voice, ensuring seamless experiences and alignment across all functions.
Build the foundation for multi-decade client relationships
You act as an ambassador of Upvest, bringing the company’s expertise, ecosystem capabilities, and culture to our clients. You cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with enterprise fintechs and incumbent banks alike, with a focus on enabling scalable success.Your approach goes beyond client satisfaction, you translate relationships into long-term value creation. You ensure clients realize the full benefit of partnering with Upvest while systematically identifying opportunities for account growth and expansion.
What you bring:
6+ years of leadership experience in Account Management or Customer Success teams in the fintech/ banking industry in a B2B context, ideally with SaaS/API-based products
Experience in investment (infrastructure) is a strong plus
Proven success managing enterprise-level clients and 7-figure+ accounts, navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Strong commercial mindset with deep experience in consultative selling, upsell/expansion, and ownership of KPIs such as NRR and GRR
Ability to set, own, and execute account plans and strategic initiatives, balancing long-term vision with operational excellence
Strong relationship-building and expectation management skills, with the ability to establish trust, handle objections, retain clients, and ensure long-term satisfaction
Track record of building and scaling teams, including developing playbooks, processes, and coaching high-performing talent
Demonstrated strength in cross-functional leadership, aligning product, sales, and operations around client needs
Solid understanding of the investment industry, current trends, and competitive landscape, with curiosity to quickly deepen expertise
Fluent in English (written and verbal), with German as strong advantage
