JOB TITLE: DECK CREW
The post is based on the Cygnus Alpha on a 2/3 rota
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Efficient operation of Marine / Aviation logistics and the associated support services including but not limited to crane operations, materials, rigging and scaffolding operations.
Always working within the platform and statutory Health and Safety Procedures and the Permit-to-Work systems.
Whilst not normally envisaged participates as a member of Not Permanently Attended Installation (NPAI) Intervention Team.
Position reports directly to the Logistics Lead.
Support Marine Logistics ensuring safe and cost effective operations.
Support services including crane, materials, deck, rigging and scaffolding operations.
Supporting all personnel and airfreight movements.
As Helideck Crew ensure safe operation of the helideck to CAP 437.
Platform fabric maintenance and in conjunction with ad hoc and vendor support.
Supervision of ad hoc support personnel
Active in the platforms Waste Management Policy and Environmental Management System.
Participate as part of the emergency response team.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
It is envisaged that Deck Crew Members will have a Core Skill in one of the following area’s with associated Supplementary Skills as detailed .
1. Core -Crane Operator (Stage 3), Supplementary – Crane Maintainer & 2 nd HLO
2. Core – Loler Focal Point, Supplementary – Deputy Crane Op (Stage 3 min) & HLO.
3. Core - Advanced Scaffolder, Supplementary – Banksman/Slinger & HDA.
4. Core - Scaffolder, Supplementary – Banksman/Slinger & HDA. 5. Core – Banksman/Slinger, Supplementary – Deputy Materials and HDA.
Experienced with a thorough knowledge in Deck logistics and Helideck operations within the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical Industry.
Suitable emergency response team experience gained within the oil/gas or petrochemical industry.

Above Training Requirement To Be Confirmed During CPP Build and completion of Manning Strategy. The listing of main responsibilities and main duties is not necessarily exhaustive and may be changed at Management’s discretion to reflect the needs of the Company. All personnel will be expected to assist other disciplines in their routine tasks as directed, in order to ensure that operational efficiency is maximised.
