We are seeking a Waterjet CNC Machine Operator to join their team in New Hampshire. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional with experience in CNC machining and a strong attention to detail. You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge equipment to produce high-quality parts from a range of materials.
What You’ll Do as the Waterjet CNC Machine Operator:
- Program and operate a 2-axis dynamic CNC waterjet cutting machine using FLOWMASTER software
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate cuts and material use
- Inspect and measure first-piece and in-process parts to verify proper setup and consistent quality
- Maintain and service waterjet components including pumps, nozzles, and orifices
- Prepare materials for cutting and ensure safe handling using forklifts and material staging best practices
- Perform daily maintenance and adhere to all safety standards and operational procedures
- Deburr finished parts and ensure protection during all phases of production
- Collaborate closely with the production team to meet workflow expectations and deadlines
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety protocols
Must-Haves as the Waterjet CNC Machine Operator:
- High school diploma or technical school equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience operating CNC equipment
- Familiarity with reading blueprints and working with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.)
- Basic understanding of cutting tool applications and material properties
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
Nice-to-Haves as the Waterjet CNC Machine Operator:
- Previous experience specifically with FLOW waterjet systems
- Forklift certification or previous material handling experience
- Experience working with both metal and non-metal materials
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset for identifying and solving production issues
