The Inter Miami CF Academy is the leading program in South Florida for developing players ages U12 to U19. The goalkeeper coach is responsible for training, exercising, developing, and assisting young goalkeepers within the guidelines established by Inter Miami, Major League Soccer, and U.S. Soccer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists in the planning and organization of Academy sessions/tests.
- Prepares, conducts, and supervises the Academy goalkeeper training sessions and matches.
- Develops a training program for the weekly sessions of the team’s goalkeepers.
- Trains in home and away matches weekly.
- Assists the team coaches in coordinating travel logistics and maintains a schedule of matches to attend.
- Provides goalkeeper evaluations and feedback on a scheduled basis throughout the year.
- Assists Academy staff in overseeing player development programs in the off-season for the team’s goalkeepers.
- Maintains a positive and transparent image as a representative of Inter Miami.
- Attends Academy training sessions to observe current players.
- Assists in conducting camps and clinics throughout the year.
- Enforces the team's rules applicable to players and technical staff.
- Records training hours.
- All other related obligations as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of experience working in soccer at the national team, professional, and/or youth soccer level in the U.S.
- Must possess a "B" or "C" license from USSF or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Collaborative management style - advocate for team concepts.
- Positive influencer, comfortable leading dynamic changes.
- Must be able to work long hours, weekends, and some holidays.
- Must be bilingual. (English and Spanish)
