We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic, driven & hardworking producer who is passionate about radio and creating fun, engaging content.

 

A rare opportunity to learn & absorb all the necessities to be a great producer on a National Drive show. You will be motivated to learn in a fast passed and high-pressure environment and have strong organisational and communication skills. Most importantly you will bring a positive attitude and have strong interpersonal skills.

 

You will be responsible for working alongside the show’s Content Lead to develop ideas that are topical and relevant to the audience, taking phone calls during the show and assisting with a variety of show admin.

 

About the role:

 

  • To support Content Lead.
  • Develop questions and audio that might be required for interviews/guests.
  • Deliver market leading content that will increase our cume/share of listening and create sharing on all platforms.
  • Ensure show is planned/mapped well in advance in order to achieve the very best outcomes.
  • Co-ordinate with the support team to implement daily features and benchmarks, as well as organising suitable guests for the show.
  • Help contribute to the Marketing Strategy for the show, and ongoing promotion.
  • Develop relationships with record companies, movie companies, press, TV, Social Media companies and Public Relations companies. Exploit PR opportunities from the show.
  • Monitor the show and ensure laws and codes are met and not breached whilst also completing ad hoc duties from time to time as directed by your manager.
