About the role:

The SAP ABAP/XI-PI Consultant plays a critical role within Support Revolution’s SAP Practice, driving innovation in HR/Payroll RTI integrations, TLR development, and client delivery.

Reporting directly to the Director of SAP Development, you will take ownership of designing and developing robust SAP solutions for complex business needs, delivering exceptional client support, and shaping best-in-class functional and technical standards while proactively mitigating risks and implementing preventative solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, develop, and enhance SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, BAPIs, BADIs, and SmartForms
• Support and develop SAP HR/Payroll processes, with a focus on UK Payroll RTI integrations and TLR development
• Build and maintain integrations using SAP XI/PI to ensure seamless interaction across systems
• Collaborate with functional consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions
• Conduct root cause analysis of issues, implement fixes, and recommend preventative actions
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and testing cycles (Unit, System, UAT)
• Contribute to the development and evolution of technical and functional standards, ensuring best practices are followed
• Prepare and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including Reports, Enhancements, User Exits, BAPIs, BADIs, and SmartForms.
• Proven expertise in SAP XI/PI for integration design, build, and support.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP UK Payroll, including RTI integrations and TLR development
• Prior experience working in a third-party support or managed services environment is highly desirable
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
