Job Description for Technical Project Manager
Location - Pune (5 Days WORK FROM OFFICE)
Key Skills:
- Project Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of software web applications or enterprise application projects.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Conduct scrum ceremonies
- Team collaboration:
- Assist team members in resolving any challenges and roadblocks.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software development life cycle and agile methodology.
- Client Interaction:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Communicate project status and updates effectively.
- Domain Expertise:
- Core Banking experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Qualifications:
- Technical Delivery Manager with 8+ years of experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in software development. Experience with projects in Java and related technologies is preferred.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and conducting scrum ceremonies
- Service leader mindset and actively collaborating with the team to remove roadblocks
- Need to have good time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects and conflicting priorities
- Experience in Risk management and risk mitigation
- Experience in client facing roles with ability to effectively communicate with client and team on project scope, requirements, project status, timelines, issues, risks, etc.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) preferred.
- Familiarity with version control systems and project management tools.
- Core Banking experience is a bonus
