The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Carpenter to join our Ballina team. In this mobile role, you’ll travel in a company-supplied vehicle to residential sites, carrying out remedial and renovation work on interior and exterior items including doors, cabinetry, locks, gyprock, tiling, painting, and paving. You’ll play a key role in keeping client facilities safe, functional, and well-presented.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform repairs on cabinetry, counters, benches, trims, doors, partitions, and frameworks
• Carry out painting, tiling, paving, lock replacements, and other remedial works
• Travel across Ballina and nearby sites in a company-supplied vehicle
• Complete administrative tasks – record, update, and upload job details on iPad
• Support a collaborative trades team to deliver quality outcomes
• Ensure compliance with WHSE standards and BGIS systems

Your Education, Experience & Skills

• Certificate III in Carpentry (mandatory)
• Experience working in residential environments
• White Card (mandatory)
• Current driver’s licence (mandatory)
• Strong problem-solving and finishing skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full working rights in Australia (essential)
