The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for delivering high calibre hires to our India business, acting as a trusted recruitment advisor to internal and external stakeholders. You will own and drive the full recruitment lifecycle: from sourcing (direct & indirect), attracting, and assessing candidates through to offer management.
You will thrive on juggling a variety of tasks and working at pace in a very busy and growing P&C team. We are a close-knit, fun bunch and are hugely supportive of each other. We strive to develop individual capability characterized by personal accountability and a shared responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with key stakeholders/hiring managers to create compelling and inclusive job descriptions
- Identify the most suitable recruitment channels for various vacancies up to senior management level
- Use various direct sourcing tools & techniques
- Conduct initial conversations with candidates to better understand their backgrounds and to answer their questions
- Schedule and oversee interviews
- Managing the candidate experience with timely updates and constructive feedback
- Deliver regular status reports on recruitment progress
- Support ad hoc talent attraction and recruitment projects
- Work with the wider Talent Acquisition team to deliver on ad-hoc projects, implement frameworks and guidelines and knowledge share on best practices
- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager and Global Expansion team with any additional requirements projects or needs
What we are looking for
- Extensive talent sourcing, screening experience in a complex matrix organization
- Fluency in English to a C1 level is essential
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Knowledge of talent mapping and candidate outreach
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Natural curiosity to be a subject matter expert
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, graduate degree in a relevant field is a plus
- Experience in LinkedIn and Naukri sourcing and data driven recruitment mindset
- International mindset but locally knowledgeable about recruitment cultures and approaches
- Ability to deliver a clear ‘pitch’ to prospective candidates
