We're looking for someone to join our team as a HR Coordinator (Talent) who:

The HR Coordinator, Talent is responsible for supporting the Talent Acquisition Specialists in implementing the overall recruitment strategy. The HR Coordinator, Talent will ensure candidates are fully prepared to begin employment by completing various administrative tasks and assisting with outreach efforts. This role will require the ability to multitask all while providing timely customer service. 


Essential Functions:

  1. Prepare new hire paperwork and act as the liaison for new hires during their pre-hire process. The pre-hire process includes, but is not limited to candidate pre-employment medical clearances, background checks and miscellaneous paperwork. 
  2. Schedule and coordinate interviews for all departments. 
  3. Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires.
  4. Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants. 
  5. May schedule and attend job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants. 
  6. Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants. 
  7. Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements. 
  8. Arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary. 
  9. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  10. Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  11. Support intern/externship programs by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching.
  12. Prepares and post jobs to ATS and appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges, etc.
  13. Maintains communication with applicants during the selection process and assures that all applicants receive feedback regarding their application for employment.
  14. Collaborates with the hiring manager to efficiently drive the timely fill of open positions.
  15. Provides analytical and well documented reports to management of recruitment metrics.
  16. Supports HR team and fills in for other HR members when needed.
  17. Provides support by answering incoming calls and guests to the HR department. Answer’s process questions and directs callers/guests to appropriate HR professional for handling. 
  18. Provides resources and solutions to inquiries and maintains documentation. Escalates issues as needed and helps identify opportunities for service center process improvements.
  19. Applies excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers and staff. 
  20. Responsible for processing all complex employee transactions into the HRIS system and performs audit measures to maintain data integrity.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  2. Proven work experience in recruiting or a similar role.  Minimum of two years prior recruiting experience preferred. 
  3. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
  4. Strong decision-making skills required.
  5. Health care organization experience preferred.
  6. Strong computer skills required, experience with ADP Workforce now preferred.
