Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Sponsorship to spearhead our sponsorship strategy and execution. This dynamic leader will be responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining partnerships with local, regional, and national brands as well as major events and festivals. The Director will create innovative, out-of-the-box marketing activations and sponsorship opportunities that maximize partner visibility, enhance audience engagement, and generate optimal return on investment (ROI) for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive sponsorship sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives.
Identify, prospect, and secure sponsorship opportunities with brands and organizations across local, regional, and national levels.
Design and pitch creative sponsorship packages tailored to brand objectives, integrating drone light shows, digital content, on-site activations, and co-branding opportunities.
Foster long-term partnerships through relationship building, performance reporting, and value-added engagement.
Collaborate with internal teams (creative, operations, marketing) to ensure seamless integration of sponsor deliverables.
Negotiate and manage sponsorship contracts, budgets, and ROI reporting.
Attend industry events, conferences, and shows to represent Starlight Aerial Productions and expand the sponsorship portfolio.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnership development, or brand marketing (experience in entertainment, sports, or live events strongly preferred).
Proven track record of securing and managing high-value sponsorships.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Creative thinker with the ability to design unique activations and brand integrations.
Highly organized, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and activations.
