Description
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Adhere to MN State Statutes, code of ethics, insurance requirements, and Northstar’s policy and procedures.
- Maintain Continuing Education requirements to keep license in good standing.
- Maintain a minimum of 20 billable hours per week.
- Provide weekly supervision to clinicians working towards professional licensure.
- Conduct Diagnostic Assessments. Create treatment plans and monitor client progress.
- Complete documentation with a focus on quality, compliance, and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate client care with necessary support and services in the best interest of the client, if applicable.
- Triage clinic staff’s administrative questions and concerns by connecting them to the appropriate tools and resources.
- Troubleshoot issues with EHR, Paylocity, Google, billing, etc. as needed.
- Review EHR service lines and complete error corrections as needed.
- Support clinic in positive culture building.
Requirements
Required Skills/Experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline.
- Independently licensed with a MN issued clinical practice license and a Board Approved Supervisor —LP, LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT.
- Demonstrate competent use of the DSM-V and evidence-based approaches.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and time management skills. Proficient organization skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and changing environment.
- Adept to learning and navigating Electronic Health Record system. Strong computer skills.
- CPT Certification or attain within 30 days of hire (in-house training available).
- Must have 2 years of freedom from chemical use problems.
- Must pass a drug screen and a State of MN Background Check.
Additional Skills and Experience:
- Familiar with Procentive (EHR).
- Training or certification in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, EMDR, etc.
- Strong motivational interviewing skills.
- Work independently, think critically, and cultivate a solution-focused mindset.
