Position: Curriculum Coordinator – High School ELA & JK-8 STEAM ReportsTo: Curriculum Department/Building Administration Function: Intended to act as liaison between building staff and district curriculum team and to serve as building content leader and curriculum support. These positions do not change district curriculum at the building level including, but not limited to, scope and sequence, pacing, content, assessment, and resources. Start: Fall 2025 Affiliation: BEA Rate of Pay: Stipend per contract
Qualifications:
Active, certified teacher.
Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
Full-time in building preferred.
Able to communicate with others in a systemic and positive manner to build effective staff relationships.
Able to work and plan in a team environment.
Expertise/interest in curriculum planning and processes.
Able to assume responsibility with a minimum of direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
Serve on building leadership team and attend meetings with building administration as well as district curriculum meetings.
Conduct meetings with appropriate staff members with prepared agenda and minutes.
Facilitate the communication of curriculum information to staff including goals, planning, learning.
Participate in relevant professional learning to stay updated on current curriculum and assist in identifying appropriate and relevant content learning to be shared with staff members.
Meet and work collaboratively with other curriculum leaders, administration, and staff members.
Communicate and assist in the management of ordering, keeping inventory, and distribution of curriculum/instructional materials in cooperation with building/district administration.
Analyze data regarding curriculum and program effectiveness.
Assist in determining and planning for content and instructional needs for professional learning time.
Participate in the curriculum review team (co-lead, co-facilitate, co-chair) to enhance and promote vertical and horizontal articulation of curriculum.
Other job duties as assigned.
