GED Instructor- Part-time at Dickinson Public School District 1

2025-2026 GED INSTRUCTOR

About the Role:

• Provide instruction in core subjects ranging from basic education to high school equivalency (GED) level
• Work with adult learners in a flexible, individualized setting (one-on-one tutoring instead of traditional, group-class teaching)
• Support students in setting and achieving personal academic goals
• One evening session is scheduled on Tuesday evenings from 5:30–7:00 pm

Schedule & Benefits:

• 15–25 hours per week, Monday–Thursday.
• Pay: $20–25/hour, depending on experience.
• Part of Dickinson Public Schools – follows the school year calendar, including holidays and summer break.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge in core academic subjects (math, reading, writing, science, social studies) up to high school level
• Ability to encourage and support adult learners of all backgrounds
• Teaching experience preferred
• Patience and a positive attitude are essential.
