What to expect
The Radar Concepts department develops innovative techniques, technologies and information retrieval algorithms for future radar remote sensing systems missions and applications.
Your tasks
- develop a new simulation tool to predict the performance impact of optical links on SAR signals
- set up an analog optical link demonstrator based on fibre optics for analyzing optical links in a SAR context
- perform innovative experiments with the ground demonstrator based on fibre optics for analyzing optical links in a SAR context
- expand the demonstrator with a free-space optics link and perform established tests
Your profile
- good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
- knowledge of optical systems is an advantage
- knowledge of radar and/or RF systems is an advantage
- laboratory experience is an advantage (VNAs, spectrum analysers, signal generators, etc.)
