Deposit Operations Specialist - Maintenance and Verification

 

Job Summary

The Deposit Operations Specialist Maintenance and Verification will provide back-office support and oversight to accounts and transactions. This position will perform routine maintenance and verification on deposit accounts and customer records while adhering to established regulatory and bank polices and procedures.

 

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures compliance with federal and bank rules and regulations regarding maintenance functions on deposit accounts and customer records
  • Reviews daily deposits for errors and omissions
  • Processes daily maintenance requests in a timely and accurate manner, including transfer and sweep verifications and setups
  • Performs account exception tracking, reviews and clears exceptions
  • Reviews reports to confirm accuracy of maintenance and/or input
  • Troubleshoots issues, including reviewing, tracing, and resolving errors, and escalates as needed
  • Researches and provides assistance to internal and external customers to resolve any questions or issues
  • Processes verification of new accounts and provides maintenance to the accounts, including IRAs, CDs, Safe Deposit Boxes, Savings
  • Verifies and mails statements, notices, letters, interest checks
  • Escalates all issues or concerns regarding verifications
