WHAT YOU’LL DO

Operating hydraulic presses and other equipment will be part of your daily tasks to assemble gears and components as a gear and flange assembler. You’ll also help manage the inventory of parts at the press cell, ensuring accurate counts and availability for production needs. You must have mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Assemble gears and/or components by means of operating a hydraulic press or other specialized equipment
  • Set up and operate laser marking equipment
  • Handle material by hand and/or by other means of equipment
  • Use proper PPE and perform tasks safely
  • Perform inventory tasks as required
  • Perform necessary preventive maintenance on tools and equipment within the press cell
  • Perform general cleanup, clerical, or maintenance work incidental to the operation of the press cell
  • Must be able to learn and use the company ERP system
  • Must be computer literate and physically able to stand for long periods of time
  • Be able to demonstrate basic math skills
  • Must be able to do basic data entry responsibilities
  • Must have solid problem-solving skills

YOUR EXPERIENCES & SKILLS

  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to maintain pace and perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be computer literate
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Ability to keep simple records and make arithmetic computations accurately
  • Experience reading micrometers and calipers preferred
  • Must be able to read basic blueprints and schematics
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a forklift license
