Job Summary:
The Data Analyst will help design, develop, and establish highly complex data management documentation based on various client partnership requirements (drug manufacturers). The Data Analyst will provide high level support to the Data Reporting Manager, the Manager of Implementation and Client Services, and engineering information technology staff. The Data Analyst will continuously support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of Anovo. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational data management systems.
- Participate in design, review, testing, and schedules, etc.
- Utilize product data management tools as needed.
- Prepare contract data item submittals to pre-established delivery schedules.
- Independent preparation and submittal of contract data.
- Review contract data requirements and establish data schedules in accordance with requirements.
- Participate in the development of plans and procedures regarding systems management.
- Assist in training staff in the use of system management tools.
- May assist with supervision of other, less-experienced team member’s work product.
- Support the analysis of proposed design changes to determine the effect on the overall system; recommend methods of improvement.
- Manage master data including creation, updates, and deletion.
- Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analyst if necessary.
- Help develop and revise reports and analysis.
- Test and implement new or upgraded software and assist with strategic decisions on new systems.
- Generate reports from single or multiple systems.
- Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports.
- Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems.
- Train end users on new reports and dashboards.
- Act as liaison between functional groups.
- Regular and reliable attendance expected.
- Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Minimum Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills Required
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Business Administration and/or Finance, Analytics
- 4+ years of relevant, similar experience.
- General computer skills required, including advanced Excel knowledge, Visio, Access and Report Builder software.
- Understanding of Development Life Cycle and Release Management.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to assess system requirements.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills.
