COMPOUNDER 2ND SHIFT at Apache Mills, Inc.

Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, is “Moving Forward” as it continues to grow its manufacturing operations. We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Manufacturing Team. We have openings on 2nd shift in our Compounding department. 2nd Shift: 5:00pm-1:30 am sometimes 3 am depending on the work load.

The position requires (this is not a complete job description):

• maintaining regular and predictable attendance
• complying with company processes and procedures
• following verbal and written instructions
• standing, walking, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing ladders and reaching while handling material or products
• working cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
• performing job duties in variable weather conditions (including hot weather)
• successfully completing drug and background screenings

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• mixing compounds in accordance with standard batch formulations
• setting-up equipment to ensure accuracy of batch formulations and necessary quantities
• assisting inventory control to ensure availability of raw materials and chemicals
• working safely around moving equipment and machinery
• inspecting product for first quality
• lifting regularly up to 50 lbs.
• rotating to other positions as business needs require
