The Director of Go-to-Market (GTM) and Marketing Operations is a senior leader accountable for the successful execution of Coinstar’s most critical product launches, retail campaigns, and sales enablement programs. This role ensures cross-functional alignment, campaign performance tracking, and operational excellence across marketing, product, sales, and customer experience. With direct people leadership responsibilities, the Director plays a central role in scaling Coinstar’s offerings and strengthening its retail partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Go-To-Market Strategy
- Develop and execute integrated GTM strategies and planning for all product launches.
- Create GTM playbooks, launch timelines, and cross-functional coordination plans.
- Partner with Product, Sales, HR, and Operations to ensure readiness across digital, kiosk, and retail channels.
Retail and Partner Marketing
- Plan and deploy in-store campaigns, signage, and co-branded promotions with retail partners.
- Build and maintain marketing toolkits to enable retail and channel sales teams.
- Collaborate with Sales and National Accounts to customize programs for key retail partners.
Sales Enablement
- Create internal and partner-facing launch kits, training materials, and FAQs.
- Develop onboarding resources for Sales, Customer Experience (CX), and retail partners.
- Lead internal communications for launches and key initiatives
Campaign Planning and Performance
- Lead quarterly and annual marketing planning in collaboration with FP&A.
- Partner with Marketing Ops to deliver dashboards and insights tied to KPIs.
- Track and report campaign impact across paid, owned, and earned media channels.
- Translate performance insights into future planning and continuous improvement.
Customer and Market Insights
- Oversee persona development, surveys, and competitive analysis.
- Collaborate with BI and external vendors to source, analyze, and apply insights.
- Identify growth opportunities and inform product roadmaps and positioning.
MarTech and Operations
- Partner with the Head of Marketing to optimize and consolidate the martech stack.
- Ensure proper tagging, lead flow, and analytics across all campaigns.
- Recommend tools and automation to increase efficiency and scale.
Team Leadership and Internal Collaboration
- Provide coaching, career development, and performance feedback to direct reports.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and data-driven execution.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field required; MBA strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership roles.
- Proven success in GTM planning, retail marketing, or marketing operations in a fintech, financial services, or retail-driven organization.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional launches and coordinate complex campaigns across multiple channels.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Ability to set GTM strategy that aligns with business objectives and revenue outcomes.
- Executive-level communication skills; experience presenting to senior leadership and external partners.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets tied to ROI.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Skilled at building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
Location & Travel Expectations
- This role can be based from our Bellevue, WA (Seattle area) office or remote, with regular collaboration across Coinstar’s national retail partners.
- Occasional travel may be required for partner meetings and launch activities.
Pay and Benefits
The typical starting salary range for this position is between $154,573- $205,000 per year. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges, within the United States, which allows us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. Employees in this position have the potential to increase their base salary up to $231,860 per year, which is the max end of the range, based on ongoing demonstrated and continuous performance in the role. Short-Term and Long-Term bonus incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.
