A leading technology company is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer. The successful candidate will manage and improve the quality of high-precision mechanical parts from suppliers by coordinating issue resolution, qualifying new parts and suppliers, and ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory standards. Supplier Quality Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate supplier quality issue resolution and lead root cause analysis (RCA) for part failures.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, internal labs, and process engineering teams.
  • Develop and implement supplier management and improvement programs.
  • Oversee the qualification process for new parts supplied by vendors.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with RoHS and other regulatory standards.
  • Manage the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers.
  • Interpret and utilize 2D & 3D CAD data to assess part specifications and quality.
  • Apply knowledge of high-precision machining, assembly, and finishing in quality evaluations.
  • Support mechanical design reviews by applying GD&T and manufacturing knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Procurement, R&D, and Planning.

Supplier Quality Engineer Qualifications:

  • 4–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical part fabrication, including high-precision machining (CNC milling and turning), assembly, and finishing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Proficient in interpreting and using 2D and 3D CAD data.
  • Solid understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
  • Familiarity with mechanical design practices, techniques, and trade-offs.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Procurement, R&D Engineering, and Planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to interface and collaborate with suppliers.

  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
