Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) exists to reach people for Christ and help them become fully devoted followers of Him. The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator plays a vital role in this mission by collecting and distributing materials for Campus Teams, enabling them to run their ministries effectively. This position works closely with Production, Inventory, Resources, Assets, and Campus Coordinators to provide excellent operational support to all campuses. 

Position Summary 

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all shipping, receiving, and inter-campus distribution processes. This role ensures materials are accurately logged, properly delivered, and handled with excellence, while fostering strong relationships with Campus Coordinators and Operations Managers. 

Job Description:

Essential Job Functions 

  • Receive and log all incoming packages from carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS, etc.). 

  • Cross-reference packages against purchase orders and delivery requests. 

  • Track and resolve delivery and pickup requests in a timely manner. 

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shipping/receiving and warehouse area. 

  • Accurately log and track development and campus delivery tote contents. 

  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of curriculum, special orders, and other requests. 

  • Safely operate CCV vehicles (Toyota pickup, 12 ft. box truck, 26 ft. box truck) for weekly inter-campus deliveries. 

  • Maintain CCV vehicles, including fueling, washing, and service record tracking. 

  • Demonstrate proven ability to drive a manual transmission 24–26 ft. box truck. 

  • Work in environments with high temperatures (inside trucks exceeding 100°F). 

  • Safely climb and work from ladders when required. 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Campus Coordinators and Operations Managers. 

  • Support campus launches and church-wide events by coordinating special materials. 

  • Recruit, invest in, and lead volunteers to support shipping/receiving operations. 

  • Actively participate in team meetings and collaborate with the Business Operations team. 

  • Maintain accurate and effective shipping/receiving processes and procedures. 

  • Provide backup support for other Business Operations team members. 

  • Contribute feedback to improve team operations and volunteer experiences.

Experience & Working Conditions 

  • Valid Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record. 

  • Proven ability to operate a manual transmission 26-foot box truck. 

  • Proficient in the use of hand and light power tools (drills, dollies, pallet jacks, etc.). 

  • Experience in safely loading, securing, and transporting truck/trailer contents. 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including a 6:00 a.m. start time. 

  • High school diploma required; some college experience preferred. 

  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. 

  • Comfortable working in extreme temperatures (heat/cold). 

  • Prior experience in: 

  • Microsoft Excel 

  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Coordinating logistics or projects 

  • Leading and working with volunteers
