We’re looking for a motivated, patient-centered Orthodontic Assistant to join our team and help us create exceptional experiences for every smile we serve.
Position: Orthodontic Assistant
Location: Murray, UT
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures including bonding, wire changes, and debonding
- Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment and ensure their comfort throughout appointments
- Take high-quality digital impressions, X-rays, photos, and intraoral scans
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, appliance care, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in our patient management system
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clean, organized treatment areas
- Support the front office team when needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and fun team culture
Qualifications:
- Prior orthodontic or dental assisting experience (orthodontic preferred)
- Current Utah Dental Assistant license and radiology certification
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-player mentality
