We are hiring for a part time Events Manager to join us for 3 days per week to plan and execute a diverse portfolio of events. 

 

Purpose of role: 

 

As Events Manager at Blackmores, you will lead the planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of events that bring our brand to life across both healthcare and consumer channels. This includes managing our regular pharmacy partner activations—such as customer conferences and engagement events—with key retail groups and banner partners. In addition, you will also oversee Blackmores’ presence at major industry events like the Australian Pharmacy Professional Conference (APP), ensuring our participation reflects our leadership in natural health and supports strategic business objectives. 

 

You’ll also manage high-profile sponsorship activations including an NBA partnership that involves several exciting activations, a state-based health summit partnership with Australian Women’s Weekly, and a key partnership with an iconic Sydney cycling event - Spring Cycle. In doing so you will help to amplify brand visibility and consumer engagement through lifestyle and wellness platforms. 

 

This role reports to an HCP Senior Brand Manager and is a part time 3 days per week working out from our Warriewood office. 

 

 

Responsibilities include:  

  • Lead the planning and execution of consumer, commercial, industry, and internal events ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives. 

  • Act as the central point of contact for all event logistics, managing timelines, venues, suppliers, and stakeholder communications to deliver seamless experiences. 

  • Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to ensure all event assets and activations reflect brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity with consistency and impact. 

  • Manage event budgets and reporting, ensuring cost-effective delivery, ROI tracking, and alignment with financial targets. 

  • Oversee external event agencies and sponsorship partners, providing clear briefs, guidance, and feedback to ensure high-quality execution and brand integrity

Who are you?  

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in event management, ideally within health, wellness or FMCG sectors with include activation and sponsorship activities 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing ,Communications, Event Management or Business Administration. 

  • Proven ability to manage complex event logistics and multiple stakeholders across internal teams and external partners with proven ability to work to deadlines 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and manage relationships with diplomacy 

  • Demonstrated experience working closely with brand and marketing teams to deliver on strategic objectives 

  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment 

  • Strong budget management and reporting skills
