Reports to: Laboratory Supervisor / Laboratory Manager

Bureau Veritas is actively hiring for multiple positions and we'd love for you to join us!

Sample Preparation Technician - you will sort rock and soil samples by hand and crush/pulverize samples using machine equipment.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum high school diploma
• Previous experience working in a mineral processing lab considered an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle weights of 20-40 lbs for prolonged periods
• Great attitude and an open and inclusive mindset

Contract position, full-time

Location: 9050 Shaughnessy Street, Vancouver, BC V6P 6E5

Shifts Available:

• Day shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Evening shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm

• Graveyard shift - 11pm - 7am

The salary range for this role is $20.51 with shift premiums.

There is also a $500.00 completion bonus if the individual successfully reaches the specified end date.
