 Who you are: 

The Associate Content Creator, Video & Design is a creative, hands-on storyteller responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering compelling video and photo content that brings the CIEE BridgeUSA mission to life. 

This role works closely with the Creative Manager to support campaigns, field activations, and digital initiatives to increase placements for Summer Work Travel, Intern & Trainee, and High School programs. From filming on-site with participants and hosts to editing content for social and sales enablement, the Associate Content Creator helps build a robust, reusable content library and ensures that the stories of cultural exchange and the impact of BridgeUSA are told authentically and powerfully. 

In addition to videography, photography skills will strengthen the Associate’s ability to create versatile, on-brand visual content. 

The Associate Content Creator also helps recruit and manage a network of video ambassadors and interns, extending the reach and diversity of CIEE BridgeUSA storytelling to increase placements and engagement across programs. 

 

What you’ll do:  

Video Production, Photography & Storytelling 

  • Capture on-location video, interviews, testimonials, and b-roll at live events, participant gatherings, and field activations. 
  • Edit video content for use across campaigns, social media, websites, and sales presentations. 
  • Support the full production cycle, including scripting, filming, post-production, motion graphics, and delivery. 
  • Build and maintain a growing library of reusable content to support ongoing campaigns. Capture photography at events, in the field, and during program activities for use across marketing and communications. 
  • Help adapt content into multiple formats (social posts, infographics, presentation decks, etc.) to maximize usability. 

 

Content Creation & UGC Development 

  • Recruit, support, and manage CIEE BridgeUSA video ambassadors. 
  • Assist in training and collaborating with interns to expand video, photo, and design output. 
  • Capture participant-driven content that highlights authentic exchange experiences. 
  • Contribute fresh ideas for innovative short-form content such as reels, shorts, and UGC-style videos. 

 Collaboration & Brand Alignment 

  • Work closely with the Creative Manager and business leaders to align content with campaign strategy and recruitment cycles.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, events staff, and program teams to ensure creative assets meet campaign needs. 
  • Ensure all produced content—video, photography, and design—aligns with the CIEE BridgeUSA brand identity and messaging. 

 

 What you’ll bring:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required (in a related field such as communications, marketing, media, or design preferred) 
  • 1–3 years of experience in video production, editing, and/or design 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or equivalent editing tools. 
  • Experience with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio equipment, and field production techniques. 
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and editing skills across video, photo, and digital formats. 
  • Graphic design skills preferred. 
  • Familiarity with social-first content creation (reels, shorts, TikTok-style storytelling) preferred. 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for filming assignments and events (50% travel). 
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects on deadline. 
  • A passion for cultural exchange, global education, or mission-driven nonprofit work is a plus.
