This individual will support the planning, coordination, quality tracking and curation of the genotyping data that fuels molecular and predictive breeding applications at Driscoll’s, including marker assisted selection, genomic selection, QTL mapping, and sequencing. • Complete sample submissions, track, and report on project progress, turn-around time, data quality (i.e. confirm autoscoring and repeatability on standard controls), and data volume.
  • Communicate and follow up with vendors for accurate project tracking, and share genotyping data status updates to internal stakeholders to support planning needs.
  • Support quality control, annotation, and curation of production genotyping data into enterprise databases.
  • Develop dashboards to visualize project tracking (e.g. Tableau).
