Bank Registered Nurse – Outpatients | Spire Cardiff Hospital | Private Hospital | Flexible Working
Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for flexibility and the chance to work in a leading private healthcare setting?
Spire Cardiff Hospital is seeking a dedicated and skilled nurse to join our Outpatients team on a bank basis, offering you the opportunity to make a real difference to patient care.
About the Role:
As a valued member of our Outpatients department, you’ll deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across a wide range of surgical and medical specialities. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your clinical expertise to a supportive, forward-thinking team in a modern hospital environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Nurse-led clinics including dressing and phlebotomy, and support pre-operative assessments
- Provide clinical and chaperone support to consultants during examinations and minor procedures
- Coordinate investigations and ensure smooth, efficient patient pathways
- Support the Outpatients Manager and wider team in maintaining high standards of care and service delivery
- Deliver personalised, evidence-based nursing care in line with Spire policies and best practice
Who we are looking for:
- NMC-registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A compassionate, proactive approach to patient care
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Venepuncture and ILS training desirable (training can be provided)
Contract: Bank
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, between the hours of 08:00 – 20:00 and Saturday
