Key Responsibilities
1. Develop a network of bike stores
- Build and expand a nationwide network of retailers offering trade-in solutions to their customers.
- Train stores to use our trade-in tool, providing instant valuations and guaranteed purchase commitments from Upway.
- Help stores offer attractive vouchers to customers for their next new bike.
- Expect to spend 3–4 days per week on the road during the first year to establish this network.
- Negotiate buy-back agreements with leasing and rental players.
- Secure a steady flow of used e-bikes into our pipeline after 2–3 years of use.
- Acquire demo and test bikes directly from e-bike brands.
- Identify co-marketing opportunities to promote trade-in and buy-back services.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Native Italian speaker (must be), fluent in English.
- 3–8 years’ experience in Sales, Purchasing.
- You are preferably based in Northern Italy, closer to the country’s main e-bike market
- Strong negotiation skills — you can convince any partner to work with us.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Excellent communication skills (written & spoken)
- Autonomous, driven, and hands-on.
- Passion for the cycling industry is a big plus!
