The Marketing Guru We're Looking For
Ready to roll up your sleeves and help spread the word about Cheba Hut? We're on the hunt for a Director of Brand Marketing who is ready to help shape our brand's future with a knack for brand storytelling. You'll be responsible for the brand’s master promotion, paid media, PR/Influencer and advertising plan, sharing our unique culture with guests and building the brand’s vibe and image through these external channels.
If you love being a master planner and tracker, diving into the numbers with mad analytics chops, you're already speaking our language. Bonus points if you have worked in a franchise or agency organization and have experience with Google Tag Manager! You'll be a creative genius, thinking up epic ways to make Cheba Hut stand out and come to life in the eyes of our fans.
Your Super Powers:
You'll be the go-to person for planning, placing, monitoring and analyzing performance of our advertising efforts through platforms including Google, Meta, Tik Tok and 3rd party delivery platforms. You’ll own relationships with key vendors to align programmatic advertising, PR and social channel messaging. With killer instincts and a knack for data analysis, you’ll determine how to best allocate our media budget and pair the right channel tactics to drive our overall promotional strategy. Organization comes natural to you and pulling channel strategies together into a calendar makes you feel at ease!

Co-Piloting the Brand Vision & Media Budgeting Process
- Team up with our Senior Director of Marketing to chart the right course for Cheba Hut's brand vision and map out the external messaging strategy to get us there.
- Stay plugged into the latest trends in digital advertising and ad tech, social media, promotions, and analysis to keep Cheba Hut at the cutting edge.
- Always think a year (or more!) ahead, tweaking our vision and strategy as needed to stay fresh.
- Articulate our brand vision and strategy to everyone who needs to hear it, loud and clear.
Mastering Paid Media Channels, PR/Influencer & Promotions
- Orchestrate our national ad strategy across a multitude of channels from start to finish, including strategic planning, content generation, placement, Monitoring and Analysis.
- Craft a PR and Influencer strategy that aligns with the overall brand vision and helps Cheba Hut stand out in the media landscape.
- Dream big and use your creativity to develop engaging on-brand national promotions, driving revenue impact.
Commanding Brand Messaging & Storytelling
- Develop and align all messaging in external channels with the overall brand vision.
- Understand the unique Cheba Hut culture and tell our story in an authentic way using the equities of the brand.
- Ensure brand messaging resonates with our guests, pivoting where necessary based on qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Conquering Channel Performance Analysis
- Be the master of our marketing channel stats and develop a clear data-backed scorecard, indicating what is and what is not working.
- Understand the measurement technique nuances of all aforementioned media channels.
- Aid in the setup of ad tracking technology and manage Google Tag Manager.
- Be a whiz with data reporting and analysis tools like Excel and Google Analytics.
- Keep key stakeholders informed with campaign reporting and recaps, telling the story behind the data.
Crafting the Promotional Calendar of Domination
- Own the planning process and master marketing calendar, pulling together and coordinating all external brand facing messaging to ensure timely and consistent execution.
- Organize planning meetings with the marketing team to ensure a clear vision of what’s to come and timelines of needed deliverables.
- Communicate calendar and promotional plans with all key players.
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table:
- 10+ years in the marketing and advertising trenches.
- A proven track record in brand marketing.
- A deep understanding of paid media channels and performance analytics.
- Experience managing third party delivery partners (DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub).
- A knack for understanding how to optimize PR and Influencer efforts.
- Good vibes, creativity and strong task/project management acumen.
- Certifications are cool, but your talent speaks louder.
- You're all about that "shop first" / customer first mentality.
