• Instructional Adaptation:
  • Adapt classroom work to address individualized learning plans, 504 plans, and other needs within established lesson plans.

• Assessment Administration:
  • Administer developmental and subject-specific assessments to evaluate student competency and develop individual learning plans.

• Progress Monitoring:
  • Assess student progress towards learning goals and provide feedback to students, parents, and administration.

• Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with instructional staff, school personnel, parents, and community resources to improve student outcomes and achieve classroom objectives.

• Activity Coordination:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a job-related area.

• Experience: Relevant job-related experience is required.

• Skills: Ability to apply assessment instruments, operate classroom equipment, troubleshoot technology, and maintain accurate records.

• Knowledge: Understanding of relevant codes, policies, regulations, lesson plan requirements, child development stages, and behavioral management strategies.

• Abilities: Ability to schedule activities, manage diverse groups, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems independently.

• Physical Demands:
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, with some climbing and balancing. Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 20% sitting, 50% walking, and 30% standing. The job is performed in a generally hazard-free environment with minimal temperature variations.
