Anticipated Leave Replacement Elementary Assistant Principal at Mahwah Public Schools

Assistant Principal, Leave Replacement, Position available at Lenape Meadows School (grades PreK-3).

Date of Assignment: October 6, 2025 - May 8, 2026
 
The successful candidate will:
• Work collaboratively with administration, staff, students, and parents
with a clear focus on supporting instruction and student achievement.
• Perform instructional observations
• Collaborate on the development, management and implementation of school level goals
• Maintain strong time management and organizational systems
• Embrace leadership and decision-making roles as delegated by the building principal
• Communicate and engage with the broader school community in an effective, timely and compelling manner
• NJ Principal certification required
 

Additionally:

• Everyday Math, Responsive Classroom and Workshop knowledge preferred
• Special Education Certification Preferred

Rate: TBD – Per Diem, Dependent on Experience
