Additional Information: Show/Hide Paraprofessional, STARS/RISE Unit: Emerson Elementary School; 2025-2026 school year; self-contained unit; not to exceed six hours and 15 minutes per day with 30 minutes unpaid lunch; position also includes a 30 minute paid weekly meeting; behavioral focused unit, must be willing to be trained in crisis prevention intervention training; must have or obtain an education aide permit from the Ohio Department of Education and meet the guidelines of Every Student Succeeds Act; responsible to building principal and/or designee.
Paraprofessionals may be required to perform various medical and/or health-related procedures, including lifting, toileting, and feeding, as a part of their job duties. In situations where invasive medical procedures are required, specific training will be provided.
