The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) is on a vital mission to improve global situational awareness in the fight against weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and improvised threat networks. A key component of this effort is the Operational Information Management System (OIMS), which enables real-time information sharing through DTRA’s Joint Operations Center (JOC), ensuring 24/7 monitoring of global operations. Managed by the IT Directorate, the OIMS platform includes various applications that assist in status reporting, hazard prediction, WMD analysis, and updates on critical CWMD events across multiple security networks, such as NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS. Through an Agile approach, OIMS modules are continuously refined to enhance the JOC's operational efficiency, with coordination from DTRA's headquarters at Fort Belvoir, VA, and the Alternate Joint Operations Center at Kirtland Air Force Base, NM.

The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Watch Officer to support DTRA in Fort Belvoir, VA. You will be monitoring, tracking, and analyzing operational CWMD-related data in real-time, summarizing findings and reporting them to support leadership taskings and responses to Requests for Information (RFIs). Additionally, it includes overseeing CWMD planning activities and providing timely RFI responses based on real-time information to ensure effective support for those efforts.

Required Skills/Qualifications 

• Must possess an Associates and 8+ years of relevant experience. 
• At least 5 years of experience with console operations and supporting a military command and control operation for the watch. 
• Can accommodate 3 on/3 off, 4 on/4 off, rotating day/night schedule
• Active TS/SCI 

Desired Skills/Qualifications 

• Prior experience within the CWMD community
