Full-Time Shop Cleaner – Nimey’s New Generation Cars (Utica, NY)
Help Keep Our Shop Running at Its Best.
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Shop Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in our service department. This essential behind-the-scenes role helps our technicians stay focused and ensures our shop presents the professional image our customers expect.
Schedule & Hours
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday
- 40 hours per week (exact shift hours to be discussed)
What You’ll Do
- Keep shop floors, bays, and work areas clean and free of debris
- Remove trash and recycling daily
- Operate cleaning equipment such as sweepers and degreasers (training provided)
- Perform light maintenance and basic safety checks as scheduled
- Assist with maintaining tools and equipment in clean, working order
- Follow all safety protocols when working around vehicles and shop equipment
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or shop cleaning experience is helpful but not required
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet throughout the shift
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently in a busy shop environment
