Since 2009, South Street Partners, the owner of Palmetto Bluff, Kiawah Partners and The Cliffs, has built a portfolio consisting of the most sought after luxury real estate & hospitality destinations in the Southeast. Arguably the US. The Social Media Specialist will lead the charge on concepting, organizing, creating and sharing the story of these projects through social media channels. The right person for this role will be enthusiastic about our brands and will monitor and respond to interactions, building relationships with social followers. The candidate must have great project management skills, rigorous attention to detail and a positive, get it done attitude.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and drive social content calendar; work closely with SSP marketing team & leadership at each project to align social campaigns to business priorities.
- Own day-to-day management of community response and engagement across South Street Partners’ project social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube and Twitter.
- Develop relationships with brand ambassadors and leverage those relationships for additional exposure
- Align closely with the project team to build strategy for on-site events, media visits, and influencer reach.
- Work closely with internal team and PR firm to identify, share and promote unique opportunities through social media channels.
- Actively participate in community conversations and manage online reputation by listening to and engaging directly with customers in a timely and authentic manner.
- Maintain consistent brand voice, style, tone and visual identity across all channels.
- Source and curate compelling user-generated content from customer ‘influencers’, industry partners, and internal team members.
- Create compelling designs for content across various platforms
- Travel to various project properties to assist with day-of social for large events or releases.
- Establish key success metrics and measurement systems to track ROI of social strategy.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications or related field.
- 2+ Years of marketing and/or digital experience
- Knowledge of HTML/Email templating best practices, including CAN-SPAM rules & regulations
- Working knowledge of systems such as Hubspot & Later.com a plus
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including design tools and Microsoft products.
- Expert in project and task management.
- Ability to deliver high quality work, quickly, in a dynamic organization under time pressure.
- Demonstrated success in creating real impact within a networked, cross-organizational environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail.
- Strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds.
- Vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
