About the Role:

The Laborer position in Longview, WA, is a vital role focused on supporting various operational and construction activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will contribute to the preparation, maintenance, and cleanup of job sites, assisting skilled tradespeople and following detailed instructions to meet project specifications. This role demands physical stamina and attention to safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. The Laborer will be responsible for handling materials, operating basic tools, and performing manual tasks that facilitate smooth workflow and timely project completion. Ultimately, this position plays a key part in the overall success of construction or maintenance projects by providing essential support and ensuring operational continuity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety standards and willingness to adhere to them.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or a related labor-intensive field.
  • Familiarity with common hand and power tools used in construction or maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license or forklift certification.
